This week we took our little Henners to Peppa Pig world at Paultons Park and he had the time of his life! I was apprehensive at first as I wasn’t sure if he would be old enough, or if there would be enough there to entertain him but we were so impressed! If you have a toddler and are looking for a day out I would 100% recommend Peppa Pig World.
He looked so overwhelmed at first, trying to process everything, but soon the look of joy spread across his little face as the reality of being within this make-believe world set in. All the rides within Peppa Pig World were suitable for his age, although they are done by height, with around 850mm – 900mm being the minimum height for most, and they were all themed around the places and adventures Peppa encounters in the show.
We went on a sunny but chilly Monday, on the 23rd March so outside of school holidays and the queues were no more than 10 minutes long – perfect for a toddler who isn’t quite old enough to understand queuing – “Henry turn, Henry turn!!” by the end of the day we were walking straight up to the front and getting straight on the rides which was great.
We even got to meet Peppa and George – not sure who was more excited!! We saw them at the later showing of 3pm and by this time there were very few people left at the park so we got lots of cuddles and time with them, which obviously made Henry’s day!
The staff were so courteous and friendly and really made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The grounds were beautifully maintained throughout Paultons Park, as well as within Peppa Pig World. Perfect for summer picnicking or extending your day venturing throughout the park, looking at all the animals or exploring. Even the food in the restaurant was to a good standard, better than what you would expect at a theme park!
I also filmed a vlog of our day with Peppa Pig, which you can find here. Unfortunately most of the footage of Henry shows him looking really overwhelmed and confused about how his favourite TV friends were right there in front of him! But hopefully it shows you what there is to do there if you’re looking into whether Paultons Park is the right place for your toddler!
Paultons Park is £28 pp on the day and £24.50 in advance. Children under 1m go free. There are plenty of rides outside of PPW which are suitable for older children over 1m. An annual pass is £90pp.

April 13, 2015Nooooo way!!! He’s a great age for it, it’s so magical to them! Try not to go at the weekend though because at that age he may not like/understand queuing too much (like Henry!) and I expect it will get busy at the weekends now the days are getting warmer x
