If you’re looking for candle dupes for the linkes of Jo Malone and the White Company then you may wish to read on!!
If you know me then you will know that I am a HUGE candle fan. I have them burning all the time, and there is just something about that time of day when the children are in bed and you light a candle to signify adult time!! I have so many candles and I love collecting new scents, however coming in at £42 for the likes of Jo Malone I have to sometimes look elsewhere for high end candles at dupes pricing.
My current favourite candles are by The White Company, I have most of them and love them all. I find them fantastic value for money, the throw is incredible and the scents are divine. At half the price of the Jo Malone candles these could even be labeled dupes. But, I have something even more affordable if you love candles but are on a budget. Enter Aldi dupes…
The scents are so similar to their high end counterparts at Jo Malone and even The White Company and they are almost double the size, coming in at only £2.99 – BUT are they really worth the swap??
In short, I would say the scent of these dupes are similar to the likes of Jo Malone, for example their No.2 candle – suspiciously named “Blackberry Bay” is a good match to the Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay smell, it’s much fruitier and less masculine I would say, but still very pleasant if you like sweeter scents. I don’t have the Jo Malone version for the Lime, Basil & Mandarin but the Aldi No.1 candle is a good match to the Lime and Bay by The White Company, albeit with less citrus scent.
