Over the weekend we visited my oldest friend and between us we now have 5 children. We often go some time between seeing each other, but every time we do it’s like we’ve never been apart and we giggle the whole time we are together. It’s a wonderful feeling when your children make new friends with your oldest friends.
I came away feeling (every so slightly tipsy) and very very content and ready for the week ahead and I wanted to share these few snaps of our fun filled Sunday for Living Arrows this week as I thought it was very appropriate!
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
The kind of laughter you feel when your eyes disappear and you have to hold on so tight to your pelvic floor!
I loved seeing the children playing so nicely together and us adults got to enjoy catching up knowing they were all happily playing in the next room. Over the past couple of weeks I’ve really noticed how much George is becoming independent and things seem to be shifting to the next stage of parenting. Both Henry and George play so well together now when we’re at home it’s so lovely to watch!

Sadly I parted ways with a lot of friends just after Athena was born as they couldn’t adjust to the change in our lives – and were very far from having their own children. But, I have made amazing friends since having the children and it’s so nice watching our children grow up together and become friends too. This sounds like the perfect Sunday x
