You may be looking to make ends meet, or perhaps to save up for something in particular like a house deposit or to pay off debt. Having more than one income is important as we never know when something like a little pandemic might come along and totally rock the financial boat!

Freelance writing – If you have a way with words, freelance writing can be a lucrative side hustle. You can find gigs on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr, or pitch your ideas to blogs and websites.
Pet-sitting and dog walking – Love animals? You can earn money by offering your services as a pet sitter or dog walker on websites like Rover.
Sell items on eBay – You can make money by selling items you no longer need on eBay. You can also buy items at charity shops or car boot sales and sell them on eBay for a profit if you wish to start flipping items, but it’s important to still donate your time and things to charity.

Translation services – If you’re fluent in another language, you can offer your services as a translator on platforms like Gengo. You could even look into translating books into a new language.
